The daffodils have yet to come out of the frozen ground, they are usually blooming by now. And it is snowing again, about one inch has fallen in the past half hour. Oh well, at least it won't hang around for long now. Dang this global warming!

The calendar may say it's spring but with 4" of hard crusty snow on the ground from Tuesday's storm and another storm forecast for Monday into Tuesday next week, we won't be getting a jump on yard cleanup, etc.
We've had some major snow storms in CT in early April over the years. This year is setting up much the same. Easter dinner by the woodstove this year - me thinks!

I feel for you! We lived in NW Michigan for 5 years. My wife tells everybody we moved to Va. Because my garden froze on the first of June.

"Spring" arrived yesterday with a high of 26. Last year was 84. Average is 47. So I guess you can say that for the past two years we have had above average temperatures. Now dosen't that make you feel warmer? Vern

We've had a mix of everything the last 2 days here and calling for snow this weekend. Sunday's my first IDPA speed shoot for the season so I might win this time by forfeit....

NWS forecasts 3"-7" for Saturday PM, then an additional 2"-4" for Sunday; total of 5"-11" for the weekend for the Kansas City area. Glad I put my chains back on.

Snowed more this winter than the last 5 years combined. Light and powdery...usually wet and heavy. Please melt soon
