FROM SCRAP TO GOLD

Postby timothyjhill » Tue Mar 27, 2018 9:28 pm

The reason I have so many tractors is,People take them to the scrap yards and I rescue them. Some of the tractors can be resored to run and some become parts tractors.People call me now to look at grandpa's,uncles etc tractors that they don't want anymore. So my collection keeps growing.I help other IHC members with parts and restoration.So.ONE mans trash becomes another mans treasure. :tractor: TIM

I especially like reading the posts in the HOW TO section...click on BOARD INDEX, scroll down to the HOW TO Forum...lots of good tips there!

Also, when you get a chance, post some photos...we love photos! (there is a post somewhere about how to do that, too!)

Oh, and there is an INTRODUCTION section where you can tell us a bit about yourself, your cub, where you are, what you do...whatever you would like to share!

I just noticed a number of images missing from the How-to section. Specifically the how to safely disassemble a cultivison tractor viewtopic.php?t=18081

Are the images still available?

Changes over time have made some unavailable but there's an effort being made to restore some of them. If you have need of some specific info, you could post a message about what you're looking for.

I'm looking for the pictures of what the wooded wedges look like so I can make a set until the Rick has more aluminum ones in stock.

The wood ones are just a wedge about 2 in wide and go from zero to about 2 inches made of oak but pine will work. Just take a 2x4 about 6 in long and cut on a 45 deg angle.
