Or use Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant. Let it cure according to the package instructions.

Well, I discovered what happened to the rear work light, someone installed it in place of one of the head lights.

Well, this happened yesterday while is was trying to fix the hood.

It fell off of the saw horses. The dent is the size of a grapefruit. :(

Began stripping the paint and decals off of the hood. There were at least 3 layers of paint on it.

Got the hood under primer. Need to test fit it and tweak a few things before I paint it.

Got the hood painted today. Looks good from 10 feet away.

Same "exact" thing happened to me...nice job on the repair!

After 2 days of Bondo and sanding it looked pretty good so I sprayed it. 3 separate times before it looked like glass. Cleaned up the spray gun etc., went back over to admire the finish and  a dozen or so small bugs were swimming around on the hood. Never got it to look that good again... until it got some dirt on it!

Thanks

It's been over a decade since I've done body work. I used to be pretty good with it. This one looks great from a distance. I think if I would have worn my bifocals while prepping the non-damaged areas it would have turned out better. But it'll work just fine for now.

Tractor Supply for now because I needed to get it back together in a hurry. We'll see how well it holds up this season.
