Ok Guys,
My BIL's engine is going to need new wrist pin bushings. What is the preferred method to hone the new bushing for proper fit?

Take them to an engine shop. They have the experience, machines and measuring equipment to do it right. They can press the old ones out, install new ones and hone them for correct fit.
