Re: What size Rears do you run?
Most of mine have 8.3 a couple have 9.5.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: What size Rears do you run?
The reason I am asking about tire size is 2 of the tractors have bad tires. I will try going used if I can find a decent set for a decent price locally.

Re: What size Rears do you run?
I have one Cub with 9.5's and three with 8.3's. I think the 8.3's just look better. I have bought two used sets of tires, one I still use and the other set was a convincer not to ever buy used tires again. The rubber was old and hard which made them hard to work with to get on the rims (after wrestling the even older and harder ones off the rims). Once on the rim a little bit of air pressure made every crack a canyon, as the tire expanded, because the cords had rotted. It was much easier installing the brand new tires that replaced those. Stick back one dollar a day, and in less than a year you can be putting on a brand new set of 8.3's.2cubs wrote:The reason I am asking about tire size is 2 of the tractors have bad tires. When you say "bad tires" if they still hold air and don't have any unusual bulges on the sidewalls, I wouldn't really consider them "bad". They may not be appealing to look at but they'll still do their job.
