Probably not my business, but I gotta ask what everyone hasn't asked lol. Why only 1 furrow 100 yards?

Mentioned in my first post, defining the property line between neighbors field and my grass lane. The furrow gives them a visual line and helps keep them from crossing over and ripping up my grass with their huge equipment .
And, I really dont have anything "important" to plow, so this gives me some play time. I did end up doing a lot more than just 100 yds.
With all the large rocks we had on the farm, dad hired out all our plowing once the trip bottom came out, so plowing is new to me. Way more fun than stacking hay, that he never hired out...

That's the job I really didn't like on the farm. Hot day, all sweaty, stuff flying thru the air sticking everywhere, itching like crazy. No such thing as a shower (hot or cold) to wash it off. You either waited for g-grandma to heat enough water on the wood stove or you rinsed outside the springhouse with ice cold water. Yep, that's my least favorite memory of the farm. The rest was all good though.
I swear, I feel itchy just remembering it.
