Generator 1100501 question

Postby JimN » Thu May 10, 2018 7:25 am

Can I use a cutout relay on a 1100501 generator on an early 47 cub?
The generator might not be perfect, but at least it would be wired the way it left the factory.
I have the correct 4 position light/charging switch still installed which "looks" ok.

Unless I am wrong, that should be a 3 brush generator which will work with a cut out or a regulator.
