Splitting a Cub

Postby Gary Puckett » Sun Jul 29, 2018 8:59 pm

The Service Manual indicates using a strap with a shop crane to support the engine half of the tractor. What kind of strap is appropriate for that? Would a 2 inch hold down strap be strong enough?

That will hold it. Be sure to wedge the front before taking any bolts out.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
