Postby hoytd » Wed Aug 08, 2018 4:30 pm

What does everyone do to be able to have the one point on and still have a drawbar?
Thanks for your help!

Why would you want the drawbar when you have the fast hitch? Just get a pull bar extension.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

The Fast Hitch, and the standard drawbar are totally separate hitches. You can only have one or the other on the Cub at a time.
If you have a mid mounted rotary mower that the rear drive parts fasten to the standard drawbar mounting plates, those parts won't fit the Fast Hitch.
Some of the mower drive parts were made for use with a Fast Hitch, but you have to have the right parts to use with a Fast Hitch.
The Fast Hitch pulls things like Bill showed above, you can raise or lower the hitch to the height you need also. :)

I have a Mott mid mount flail mower on a Loboy and Mott did make some brackets to mount a drawbar with a fasthitch. They are hard to find and limit the range of motion on the fasthitch. It bottoms out on the drawbar. The belt tightener was made to mount on the drawbar so the brackets were necessary to complete the assembly.
