That would come in handy! Pleasant Hill Mo isn't too far from here.

If you need any help, Stanton is the Forum expert. He had an article published about 5 years ago in Red Power (?).

Well you cannot beat that then. A number of years ago I have seen those converters go for over 500 by themself's. Be careful running it- it makes our Ford jump around when you hit a rock or root and there are alot of parts flying around. Mine is serial number 2794 so there are at least 1428 of them out there! There is also an extra stand that swings down from its frame work to keep the tractors front wheels on the ground. That might be a later addition and maybe just on the Fords. My Dad originally bought it for the Cub but later when he inherited an 8n bought the needed parts which consisted of another frame, clutch and handle extensions

Congrats on the Grosshart Posthole Digger and reducer/reverser. Prewitt marketed these throughout the country. What part of the country did you buy this one?

Hi,
There was a pic of the Post Hole Digger for the Fast Hitch on the back of the 1955 Cub brochure. The brochure is looking a little used after many years. The pic is below. :)

Quite interesting. When I interviewed Ron Prewitt (J.R. Prewitt's grandson), he mentioned they would load a 1-ton truck up with as many posthole diggers they could and take off in any given direction, stopping at farms and tractor dealerships. They probably traveled in all 4 directions from Missouri. Your particular PHD could have traveled from one seller to another, like so many tractor items do.

Thanks for sharing the info.

Is your's operational? The pic appears to have everything there to run. Do you have plans to restore or just use it as is?

Here's a couple links to mine:

Enjoy yours!!
