Rear rockshaft bracket

Postby Davestation75 » Mon Sep 17, 2018 7:57 pm

:help:

Can anyone help me with a 55 Cub rear rockshaft ?

I recently purchased one in good shape on Ebay for 66 bucks total with shipping but it doesn't fit even though it was listed for a Cub .
I'd have to remove the fender and battery box to accommodate it so I'm assuming it's for a larger tractor ?
I already have the actuating rod which runs from the pto arm .
I have the One Touch System and I thought I read that the rear mounted manual lift and hydraulic rockshafts were different.
Also, will I have to remove the pto pully for my mower if the bracket is installed?

Thanks in advance

First of all, I would be contacting the seller and/or ebay. If thee seller said it was for a Cub and it isn't, they should make it right,

Post some pix so we can see what you have,

Hi,
Below are pics from TM Tractor of a Cub rear lift, for use without Fast Hitch.

http://www.tmtractor.com/tm-tractor/gdr ... ck_001.htm

The hydraulic is called a Touch Control.

Below is a page from the Cub 144 Cultivator owner's manual, showing the rear lift, in the lower pic on the page. The rod should be connected facing like it shows in the pic. :)

The manual lift has a lever, and is a different unit from the rear lift used with Touch Control, like it shows in the manual pic above.

The OP sent me the photos so I'm posting them for him. Herein lies the problem, it appears that it's either put together backwards or is it for a different tractor?

The only thing that has me concerned is the shaft appears shorter and with a slightly different angle at the bend. Might just be the camera angle?
