one of these things is not like the other CONTEST!

Postby Indy4570 » Sat Oct 20, 2018 2:48 pm

oK so we now know that the deep dish flywheel is something they ran on the balers. I took the time to clean it up as well as a standard flywheel and took some comparison pics and weighed them both.

we will have a contest to guess the difference in weights, the winner gets absolutely NOTHING other than the prestige of guessing correctly and the adulation of your fellow forum members ;) Please, no lookups and maybe we need to disqualify Jim Becker because he knows almost EVERYTHING there is to know about farm-it-alls! :P Good ole honest guesses! if you happen to have one and weigh them, please hold off till the reveal and we can compare the weights you got with mine :)

sure, why not :)

you can guess the individual weights as well , some of you must have a flywheel laying around to guess the standard tractor version.

it is interesting that this clears everything and works in a tractor just fine, clutch and pressure plate are identical

I’m guessing 9 pounds difference. Normal flywheel guess is 21 pounds, baler flywheel 30 pounds.

My guess for the difference in weight would be 8.5 pounds. The normal flywheel at 21 pounds and the baler should weigh in at 29.5. Just wild guesses.
If you own 1 tractor you have a interest
If you own 2 tractors you have a hobby
If you own 3 tractors you have an addiction
Anything over that..well your incurable!
