This is the emblem from my 1958 Cub. It has red paint on it. The aftermarket emblems I've seen have black paint. Which is correct? If this is IH red I will polish it and repaint the red. Thanks
Larry

Re: 1958 Front Emblem
Hi,
Some of the years that used that style of emblem had black paint, and some had red paint.
I think I saw on here that 1957 was red, but not sure. It is not discussed much, that I have seen. Jim B probably would know.
Try using some NAPA chrome polish on the emblem, that would probably help it some.
The paint it has still looks good in the pic.
