Up here in southern Maine we have had two 6" snowfalls already and the cub has handled it just fine . I have been trying to come up with the right plow set up for my 160ft rough driveway that slopes towards the street and a 40ft by 40ft parking area. I have read every suggestion I could find on these forums . I have rear wheel weights , chains and ribbed tires up front .Traction is not a problem. My cutting edge on the plow is very worn and has also been flipped over in it's life . I decided to do the " horse stall mat" idea along with shoes to keep the blade just off the ground . So far so good but this AM it really proved it's worth . We got 3+ inches of slush and home owners with snow blowers were clogging up fast and almost useless .I did 3 driveways that ended in the pouring rain and the blade worked great !

We have only had one 10" snowstorm and a couple of dustings. I hope it isn't going to be one of those years

For me, snow is a nasty 4 letter word!
