The hood was cut. None of the newer castings were there so im thinking this was before the increase. Date was 4 10 75. Not sure why it had the zenith carb


My mower cub is a 48 with a zenith. Has slightly more grunt power at full throttle than with an ih original.

The number cubs were marketed to cut grass and the added RPM meant higher blade speeds which cut better.
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!
