Urbish, just curious how high does the blade lift with that set up?
Ain't no shame in being early

On close inspection of the photo, I don't think it is the same as the one in the illustration. The one in the illustration has a kink in the flat axis to allow clearance. Also, it doesn't appear to have the spacers that the photo shows. Perhaps it is a shop built substitute for the "boomerang" style extension. We may never know for sure.

I have seen these before but they have been pretty bent up, I believe yours was an early version so they made the more common one that is longer and sits on the pin at one end to stop the twisting and bending of it

My Cub had the flat piece on it when I bought it. Doesn't look homemade to me.

Mine has a similar flat piece as you can see in the earlier photos of this thread. I was assuming it was homemade. Perhaps it wasn't after all.

The straight one was for the earlier model:

Seems to be mounted differently, though??

12" at the highest notch. 16" if I push it beyond the notch, but the plow frame is really close to the tie rods at that point. See this thread for blade lift height measurements vs. setups: http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=87470

Looks like a top attachment arm for a Woods 59. Easier and faster to take out the one bolt holding the T that the chains hang from, than the two bolts holding it on the rockshaft.

Now that is very possible. The Cub had a Woods 59 pulley on the PTO shaft as well when I got it.
