Not positive but I think that was the guy last year that was selling stripped and painted non running Cubs for the sole purpose of being yard art. There’s been another bunch of ads from the area that sell Cubs and A’s that have the finals and spindles flipped upside down to make lo-rider tractors, rendering them useless as a working tractor. Might be the same guy again.

Nope, that is Dan Keller. He restores Cubs, young guy and works for a tractor place. Anything he does is first class.
He would never sell a tractor for yard art

He probably bought it that way, but if he put his hands on it most likely runs like a Swiss Watch. Not sure what tinkering means? Other issues besides running

That’s good to hear.
Tinkering is something we all do here. Basically as I see it, it’s almost could be considered therapy. You don’t work on a tractor as a job but you go out and work on it fixing it a little here and there, it takes your mind off of things and makes you happy as any good hobby should.
