Oh no this is my third cub in a years

Postby Command52 » Fri Feb 22, 2019 7:16 pm

Just thought i would share, I had been watching this cub sit by the road for about 5 years for sale, I final stopped and gave in . He wanted $500.00 for it but i did get it for $350.00 Numbers are 189574 J I now have 3 cubs . I started out a year ago restoring my Grandfathers cub and here i am 3 cubs later. The mower deck i believe is a woods 42 (I think} Ive been looking at the manuals on line here to determine which 42 i have but i don't see a lot of difference in the models , if maybe someone may be able to help me on that Thanks Billy

Five years!...Small Wonder (Delaware nickname) you only have three Cubs. Shoulda snagged that one years ago.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Congratulations! Good price for a non-runner.

What are your plans? Parts tractor? Getting it up and running? Is the engine locked up? Let us know, we're interested... :coffee:

You are faster than me, it took me 20+ years to get my second one and another 5 years or so before the 3rd one. I neither have room, nor want any more. of course I said that when I got the 2nd one. LOL.

I know where you are coming from I have bought 5 in the last three years. The second one I bought was being worked on and I found another and said I would buy it for parts and it was better than the one I was working on so that meant buying parts for two. Since have bought two more and the worst one I bought no hood and four flat tires is the only one I was able to drive on the trailer.
