Read my post on new blades. I ordered them on ebay. Very good quality, but were meant for a mower that spins counter clock wise. Doesn’t cut well on the back side of the blade!

15/16” 6 point socket and impact, corners could be worn. right hand threads they will come right off. Napa number 7-04426 for the blades. I think they were $16.00 each I bought last fall.

I stick with Woods. In 25 yrs l've gone through 4 or 5 sets, but thats mowing 5 acres every 7 days or so from Apr-Oct. They have good steel in them and can be resharpened a number of times until they get too narrow. I get mine from Alderman's here in Mi. I save shipping, they're only 30 mi up the road.
Also as far as removal, l use an impact and socket. Never fails. Then just a dab of grease on the thread when reinstalling to help next time.

Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over. :?:
