What’s this do on a Woods mower deck?

Postby MikeEyre74 » Sat Aug 10, 2019 2:08 pm

It looks like it’s a guide or something but I can’t see what it’s supposed to do there. Any ideas?

basically doesn't let the belt run lower than it is and keeps some of the chaff out?. there is one on my woods, more of a guard than a guide I think
