Connecting rod Bushings

Im in the process of ordering my parts for my rebuild/restoration . My question is are the Connecting rod Bushings pressed into the rods and do the bushings have to be fitted. Im ordering new pistons Thanks Billy

That is right, as I remember. The bushings have to be reamed to have the proper clearance.
I don't see much about it in the Cub service manual.

Below is a page from the Cub service manual. It says installed and bored, and gives the ID. :) ... 001-05.jpg

Someone should measure the cylinders to see what size pistons are needed, before buying pistons.

yes they are pressed in and should be burnished for proper fit

Yes they are fitted by reaming/honing them. If I recall, clearance is 0.0005-0.0008 or something crazy like that. I do know that 0.001 over book still works with only a slight knock when cold...5 years and counting.
