Cleaning coolinf fan.

Postby Command52 » Sat Jan 04, 2020 6:10 pm

I am trying to figure a way to change the bearings or clean the dirt and grime from the bearings ,If I try to clean them I am afraid I will wash out any grease they may have left in them. If I have ready correctly the bearings are sealed. Is there a way to change these bearings or clean and regrease I see the new fans but I love the original parts if possible . I have restored this tractor Every bearing , seal, Engine , steering ect. Thank You Billy

there is no "bearing" in this, you can take it apart and clean it, it uses a couple of gaskets

Certainly true of the originals. But this looks like it may be one of the cast hubs with sealed bearings. If so, nothing to do but clean it up externally.
