they started at 224704, not sure when they ended but I think it was around 500 made?, check the cub database

It seems the 1964 12V Farmall Cubs were red with white hoods. There may have been some before the S/N range and after.
S/N S/N 224401-224703 were the 12V Farmall Cubs. Only 303 made, the rarest Cub of them all!
Anything before was a 6V Farmall Cub. Anything after was a 12V International Cub.

Hi,
Below is a page from the Cub parts manual, showing the square front Farmall Cub in the lower pic, and the serial numbers when they were made.
It was during that style of hood and grille that they were changed to 12 volts, like Peter said above.

You are correct. I thought I had found one but had I looked closer I would have known better. Someone had painted the hood white on a older cub. Got a little excited.
