On the Wisconsin Archives page in the mid century stuff they have posted, you can see some pictures of the trailers without beds being used to haul implements behind cubs for farm demo's.

Do you have a link or screenshot? This the only picture I could find. I've never heard of the 729 trailer.

I think most of the pictures I've seen, if they had a trailer at all, showed one similar to the one indy61 posted.
There is this piece of literature with a flatbed trailer. Note the word "proposed". I don't know if the trailer was proposed or if it was proposed that the dealers use it.
