Billy,
This is my 57 dash.
Not sure if the fuse holder is factory. The ignition button stripped off so I replaced it with a brass fitting I had kicking around.

Hi,
Below is the 1955 Cub operator's manual. It has lots of info.
It has pics of the dash on pages 4, and 45.
Page 45 says magneto near the top, but the pic at the bottom of the page looks the same as a Battery Ignition unit system would be.

Below is the light switch knob at TM Tractor, it shows the serial numbers when it was used.

http://www.tmtractor.com/new/el/844fp.htm

TM Tractor has a new knob for the ignition switch.

http://www.tmtractor.com/new/el/435fp.htm

Below is the ammeter, TM Tractor says they had them made to look like the original.

http://www.tmtractor.com/new/el/199fp.htm

Below is the 6 volt light switch used from later 1958 on, it is a 4 position switch. It was used at the serial numbers shown on the page.
The original was a 3 position switch, with Off, Dim, Bright positions. They are rectangular.
I think they are available somewhere online if you want one.

Below is the ignition switch TM Tractor has for a Battery Ignition unit, it has a knob similar to the original.
They have another switch that costs less.
I think the original style switch is available somewhere online, if you want one.

Below is the fuse holder, it says it is a Case IH part.

Below are pics from TM Tractor of the original 3 position light switch, and the ignition switch for Battery Ignition. :)

To respond to Glenn's post: my 57 loboy has the later style light switch knob which I believe is original and have owned the loboy since 1968.

I had a 57 Loboy for a couple of years, S/N 6027, that had the same light switch as my 1957 FCub.

Maybe switched earlier than thought.

Hi,
I was using the info TM Tractor has at the knob listing that I posted above.
Looks like the serial number they show is not quite right, if IH was using the newer style knob in 1957.

The Cub parts manual doesn't say, that I saw. :)

My 57 LoBoy sn 4829J also has the same light switch as the picture shows. Stan
