Hi All,
While my wife was driving daughter and I from Minneapolis to Des Moines last week I was busy making cell phone calls to to tractor salvage yards that I found on the internet. 37 phone calls did not lead me to a 54A blade or a 59" belly mower.
I suppose the best thing to do is to try JP and TM tractor parts. I was hoping to find something close by to save on shipping.
I would appreaciate any possible leads on these components.
Thanks, Rick

I'm new at this.
I researched this site and others before buying a '49 Cub with grader blade and other attachments. After a considerable amount of head scratching and parts matching on TM and J&P Salvage, it turns out I have a SA-140 grader blade. It's 60" long and requires modification of the axle hanger bracket to be front mounted but can be mid-mounted to the reversed drawbar without modification, though it will be off-center by one bolt hole on the drawbar, but it is quite functional. I mention this only for the fact that it will work if you need a functional blade in a hurry. You could always sell or trade it later if concerned about correctness. I discovered what I had accidently as it was not mounted to the tractor when I bought it. Good luck with your search whatever you decide.

It is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt. (Abe Lincoln, I think).

The mowers are pretty hard to come by. The snow plow is a bit easier.
I was almost thinking of selling the woods 59 that is on the 50 (to help pay for the tractor) but figured that the mower was too hard to replace.

Last summer I found a International C3 59" laying in the weeds at a mans farm complete with belts. He sold his tractor without the mower and I picked it up for $40 .......Last years best buy...... P.S. (he set the price)
