Ledger plate source

Postby Bill Hudson » Mon Sep 28, 2020 8:28 am

I recently acquired a C-22 in very good condition. All the parts/pieces (aside from the swath board, which I would have removed for my use) except for a missing ledger plate on the outer shoe. I did a fairly extensive internet search and came up empty. So I headed to nearby Amish country to find what I needed since the Amish use horse drawn mowers of that vintage and make of the C-22. A friend referred me to an Amish shop that works on mowers. They had what I needed, in stock. Two ledger plates for the outer shoe and one for the inner shoe plus the rivets, all for $15. I'm a happy camper!
