I think the below photo is what you are looking for, but it is a 1948 teardrop light. TM Tractor also has a photo. I could not find a parts list that provided the exact screw size, but I am guessing it is 8-32 x 1/2" long pan head phillips screw.

Paul, take the rim to your local hardware store. They should be able to match it up.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I'm guessing standard , I have changed anything - just "misplaced" the screws...

Thanks for the pic. I was going thru some parts last night and I think I saw a short screw like that. I'll check when I get home....

If original rims they will be standard, unless they have been rethreaded.

And they would likely have been slotted, not Phillips.

Hi,
Below is a pic from TM Tractor of a flatback light, showing the screw.
On all the Cub lights I remember seeing, the screw heads were for a straight blade screwdriver, not phillips.

The Cub parts manual doesn't say the size or head style, it only has a part number. :)

I found where I put them.
Looks like they're far from original

I don't think there is anything special about the OEMs. Why not just shorten what you have and use those?

Here is a shot of my pancake headlight on my 1957.
P/N 53 526 D, used on pancake and bullet style "moulding" for both headlights and rear work light. Looks to be an 8-32 x 5/8" slotted round head with a 'B' tip with a lock washer.
