Is it a fasthitch planter? Did they even make a 184 for a Cub that wasn't?

Yes they did. It used the same planter frame with different attaching parts.

Hi,
Below is the 184 Planter operator's manual, it has lots of info.
There is a table of contents on page 2.
The introduction on page 3 says several of them were used on larger tractors.

http://farmallcub.com/rudi_cub/www.clea ... index.html

It says in the introduction it was used on Cubs with or without Fast Hitch.

There are many manuals at the top of the page at Cub Info, then go to Rudi's Manuals. :)

I'm trying to post a picture of what I believe is a 184 planter. When i try to drag the picture jpeg file into the post, it tells me the file is too large. The file size is 975kb. Can anyone provide me w/ direction? Thanks.

File size is limited to 500K. You can reduce them by a variety of methods. If in Windows, you can open in Paint and resize. More on the upload is here:

It may not improve your luck, but you may have a better chance searching for 522119R91, which is the runner with attaching block riveted to it. Parts Depot has the brace. You can get parts form the depot through a CaseIH dealer that has chosen to work with them. The dealer can provide pricing. You may consider making your own if you have a pattern to work from.

It is best as a jpg file.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
