Hello,
I trying to get my C3 to operate correctly. I just installed it using the C3 manual on this webpage. I believe that I have installed it correctly. However, whenever I start to mow the belt falls off the center pulley. I have attempted to make the belt as taut as possible. Can someone tell me what I'm doing incorrectly? I have almost destroyed my new main belt.
Thanks
Rich

Are you referring to the center pulley in the first picture, or the center pulley on the deck?

Move Idler pulley to opposite side of mounting bracket. Belt seems to want to go that way any how. Maybe someone replaced it incorrectly. (tst, I'm just guessing.) Tell me if I'm wrong. Still learning

That belt has significant wear. I'm guessing that a couple of the cords in the belt have broken and tries to climb the pulley.
You should probably replace the belt.

That flat idler is way out of adjustment. Looks like there is enough slot it can be moved to the right. I’d move the idler and maybe the old belt will stay on.
