6 Volt Led headlight bulbs / sealed beam lamps

I had seen post before about 6v headlight bulbs, But never gave them much thought. I still have 3 tractors that are 6v, as long they are still charging i'll keep them 6 volt. I would like to change out the 1133 bulbs & the 6v sealed beam bulbs to Led, What Led replacements would I need ? & where to get them? I am looking for brighter light & less current draw? I have done a great deal of research and work on this and use this on my teardrop lights. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=93914&start=15&hilit=LED+bulb

On ebay search for "2x ba15s 50w cree led white car bulb light brake/turn/tail /reverse lamp 6v" but they are not always for sale and they come from China and they take 3+ weeks to get. They will work at 6v and 12v and positive or negtive gorund. It is a good idea to test them when you get them because they look identical to ones that are negative ground only. They are the only ones I have found that are brighter, that work, and need no moditications.

AS far as pancake light there are some LED lights at Steiner's ( and others) that have the ground tab and or are 6 volts but there are either 6v negative ground or 12 volts so you have the transformer issue or have to revise the polarity on the tractors. I have not found a sealed beam with the tab that are positive ground.

LEDS are more money but the lights never burn out. the LEDs also save a lot of amps which is a help plowing snow at night at medium to low rpm and not draining the battery.

As far as the transformers they are out there. You have to look on old car websites. search " install modern radio in my classic car" The current is very low so these are relatively efficient to use.

Decided to try some 6v LED PAR-36 bulbs from a company called Taysing on Amazon. They had them for less than $30 for a pair.
I put them in our '48 Cub (6v neg. ground) and they worked. Decent light for my nighttime snow plowing.
Some observations:
- Definitely flood instead of spots.
- Rated at 5W for 6v usage giving 500 lumens instead of the 30W for the old bulbs.
- Rated for AC/DC 6 to 24Volts so positive ground is not an issue.
- More sensitive to bad wiring connections than the old bulbs
(with a marginal connections, they blink or don't light while the old bulbs just go dim).
- Taysing also has 12v LED PAR-36 bulbs for a couple dollars less per bulb. 12 to 24v 9w 900 lumens.
- Mine came in boxes printed with the 12v bulbs but with a 6v barcode sticker that has the 6v info on it.

6 volt is hard to find. good job. These are "soft white" in color. The Larsens are "day light" in color and over 3 times the lumins which probably accounts for a lot of the difference in price.
