Plow model 193 colors

Postby meandmydeere » Sat Jan 14, 2006 12:54 pm

I have a model 193 mold board plow and I would like the correct colors for it. Blue for the frame and red for the brackets the best I can tell but what color blue? And what color for the moldboard?

Every original one I have ever seen was entirely blue, except the working surfaces of the bottom, colter etc. that were unpainted and varnished.

The blue is relatively dark. Van Sickle makes a match. Ace Hardware has a blue that is a pretty good match. Check on Rudi's manual server for a list of paint numbers from othe sources.
