Long neck airbreather
5 years ago when I put the 184 motor in my cub I also added the long neck breather. However I installed it backwards. Thought I'd ask if other than clearance issue with the carb is there any reason to punch it out and put it in the correct way?

Re: Long neck airbreather
The angle might very slightly alter the oil dipstick reading due to the angle, but not enough to be significant.
- Not enough motivation for me.
Does the fuel line or the hydraulic lines rub on it?

Hydraulics are on right side this is on the left. Fuel line is close but doesn't rub

Re: Long neck airbreather
Probably sticks out further left, and might be (more) prone to catch on something.
I have a 48 cub that I was (out back) mowing brush with and something pulled out the breather cap / dipstick, and it was lost for (??) years.
I eventually found it, but it is a little rough compared to the day prior to being lost!
