Pap, that's called "work clothes". When l redid both my Cubs l decided to leave them in their work clothes. They arre both working tractors. Who needs to worry about scratches and dings on a new paint job when you've got work to do.
Bless all those that take on old broken down wrecks and breath life back into them, and were meticulous about trying to geteverything right, including arguing about who has the best shade oF IH red to use. I love following those nut by nut, bolt by bolt restore threads. It's just not practical for a working tractor.
To each their own. If YOU are happy with it. That's all that matters, it's your tractor.
Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over. :?:
