If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

I don't know eugene, providing groceries for them versus the amount of power produced might not be too economical.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

That's the photo. Great photo.

I think John's right about not being able to afford the cost of fuel. I'll just consider it an innovative, low cost, temporary, performance upgrade.

it should be noted, however, that that 'performance upgrade' did not earn the participants the victory!
the 'victor' was Rambo, a 154 or 184 engine powered sleeper cub piloted by GW 8) 8)

i was thinking of using a governor out of a power unit as the basis of my own 'sleeper'...mmmmmm 8) :)

As I have said before.......if you ever have chance to use a Super A, (or A, 100, 130, or 140) you'll be ready to ditch the Cub pretty quick. Lots more tractor, but not much bigger physically.

Other than that, shaving the head will give a little more power.

Put on a Cub-144 cultivator on a "stock" Cub with your choice of tooling on teh front, and two sweeps on the back, 14-16" wide or so, to do the middles. Sock 'em in the ground. Then do the same thing with a Super A. You'll see why. And if that's not enough, compare the two-circuit Touch Control with the single circuit on the Cub. You can do lots more with that extra rockshaft!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not downing Cubs, next time I cross paths with a good one and the money's right, it'll come home with me. A lot of people thing they can move the world with a Cub.....I guess you can but it'll take a while..... 8)

Art,

Go for it! I don't plan to bring Rambo back and the word is that Missy won't be coming.

Unless Bigdog helps again the trike won't be much competition either, so anyone has a chance at the bragging rights. The winner might as well be you. :D :D :D
