brake pedal removal

does the brake pedal beside the clutch slide off after the locking bolt is removed? i can only move it about a 1/4 inch. dont want to mess anything up. thanks

It is "supposed" to slide off. It may take a little persuasion. Soak it with penetrant and work it back and forth the 1/4" distance you have already obtained. Once the penetrant gets soaked in it should pull fairly easily.
