Hmm, "a Yankee mule BUT a good un," you say. I'll have you know that George, the beagle in MY avatar, is a Rebel dog from N.C. and he's ALSO a good un.
Where exactly IS the Mason/Dixon line? South of Connecticut somewhere, ain't it???

The local joke around here is that anything north of I-40 is yankee land.
Didn't mean no offence with the yankee comment, just a joke round here. Most my best friends live north of I-40.
Allen, the typical red flags with mules/horse are
...kid broke... (rode by kid who also rode buckin broncs)
...shy... (hard/impossible to catch)
...gentle horse, rode once then lost interest.... (rode once and got bucked)
...spirited...(bites, kicks, runs, out of control)
...green broke...(had a saddle on it's back till it bucked it)

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Russell I like that. I had to laugh as my best friends son. And last month at the 2005 International Professional Rodeo Assioasion. Won the All Around, second place Bull Riding and first in Saddle Bronc and Bare Back Championships. Not bad for a 20 year old. Oh yea he was beraking horses too
Take care of your equipment and it will take care of you. 1964 cub. Farmall 100 and 130.
