Postby allenlook » Sun Feb 12, 2006 7:23 pm

Has anyone hooked up a reverse klaxon to your Cub?

If so, how did you do it?

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Klaxon

Postby Charles (49) Mo » Sun Feb 12, 2006 10:29 pm

A mechanical Klaxon would work. There is no connection for an electrical one.
The mechanical ones make a ding - ding sound. Kinda like the bell on a kids bike.

I have a Klaxon on my '45 B Farmall and I have one to put on my ugly cub, Homely. Since I don't use reverse very much, I wire mine to blow whenever I feel the need. 8)

You can find 6 volt Ford Model A Klaxons at flee markets, or on ePay that'll do the job, but I agree with Cub-Bud...wire it so you can press a button and make it sound whenever you want to (not just in rerverse)...THEY SOUND SUPER IN PARADES!
