Gave in to taking rear finals into caseIH to have done, i hate to wait. Anyway, had neighbor blast it before i took it in. Man that thing he gots goes fast. Does great. I want one.!! Heres the pictures.
This one took about an hour.
Anyway i will have them mount motor while its there so i dont have to worry about messing that up.
I should be able to do the rest with your help.
May have to move phone line and computer out to the barn though, maybe hook up video , and a way for someone to reach out and slap in the back of the head when im bout to do something wrong.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Video,
Just think, the IH dealer may assign that rebuild job to a kid they just hired and has never been close to a Cub. Looks like you have a good shop and a lot of good help here. I'll bet when all is said and done, you would have done a better job yourself, if you had the time. On the sand blast, it looks nice, BUT as Big Dog says, it sure creeps into places never imagined. Four major pieces I will not let get near a sand blaster are final drives, Tran/diff. and front bolster. Just too hard to clean up. I tried it once. I am a fast learner when it comes to cleaning. Anyway, you may come out with a great job and tractor. We are still here to help. Bill

Just dropped off this unit at CaseIH, talked to the old guy thats going to be doing the work. He is doing the engine, done several. Thats why he got selected to do this one. Said its been a while since hes done one, and excited about doing one again. Since hes part time (semi retired) hes glad i brought her in, and that he will treat her as his and clean her out good, even if he gots to do it on his own time. Said i have to bring it in when all done so he can take it for a test drive! I said of course i will! Even invited him to cub fest
Guessed i lucked out there

That's what the boy walrus said to the girl walrus, after a romantic weekend on the beach.
That what i thought Tupperware said, when they where trying to come up with their slogan.
What does a walrus and tupperware have in common? they both like a tight ........
