Question for those that may be coming to DocFest??

Postby John(videodoc) » Tue Mar 28, 2006 7:39 pm

Being fortunate to live in the middle of two CaseIH stores(15 miles either way). Was thinking today, would it be nice to have one of their parts people here with commonly used parts, such as plug, point, wires, oil, filters, trans oil, etc, etc. etc??????? Shipping would probably be available on parts that were not in their stock that you wanted that may not be available through our site sponsors???????

I have a Case IH dealer 2 1/2 miles from the house and the few things I have needed, they had most on the shelf.
I may bring a couple of things along to sell if anybody would want them. A rusted out but rebuildable battery box, a pretty good tool box, 2 chrome 12 volt sealed beam headlights and a good govenor, housing and cross shaft.

I went ahead and called the parts manager, kinda developed a relationship with him over past couple years, seeing hows i had to get parts offin him quite often for bastet case, stainless, and now the demo, anyway hes donated some door prizes, and said he may be able to set a small table of stuff unsure as of today, will talk more with him on friday when i pick up the bulk of the demo to see what if anything he can or cant do.

Never have done one of these things before, not knowing what you all have available to you where ever you are all at, its kinda hard. Just trying to provide a little of everything. (covering all my bases kinda of thing.) If it goes over well, maybe do it again next year, with more planning, and more........ who knows.....
