Hydraulic adjustment.

Postby Harold R » Fri May 05, 2006 8:32 pm

After getting the T/C block back together with the new kit, I was happy to be able to get full movement where as before I had none. I think the main culprit was the clogged filter. However, now when I move the lever, the rockshaft will go to the full stop. No stopping it. When it bottoms out, I move the lever aft.....and it goes full to the rear. I can see-saw with the control lever and eventually get it to stop at an intermediate position. I re-installed the threaded control rod in the same place as before. I'm pretty sure everything was put back in correctly......any ideas as to regain control??? :(

Unfortunately, I think you're going to have to take it off again, take it apart, and triple-check everything. Sounds like even though you think you have it back together correctly, it's not quite right.

HR, check the linkage form the rma ot the control volave and control lever. if you leave the pin out, it will do that. don't ask how I know.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

I'm no expert here but it sure sounds like follow-up linkage adjustment.

Hy-Tran fluid.
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
