Rick,

I enjoyed the visit Saturday with you and your dad. Will you bring the new tractor to CubFest?

That question and many others can be answered by a visit to the Cub FAQ on the ATIS server, like this picture:

Here's Bob Grootgoed's tractor as it looked at the first CubFest. I don't know the year, but it's done a little differently. To me it looks great!

Hey Redman don't feel bad I was born in 1932 and can't afford one from that year.

Rick,

That tractor lurking in the background is Dave Roberts' demonstrator, one of 3 at the first CubFest. I expect at least twice that number at DeGraff! :D

Redman, I will be at Cubfest too... Probably the only one from the 'biggest little state in the Union'!

I didn't do a 'restoration' (but it took me long enough) on Rufus (71) but have some photos that may help.
After some more serious work on the 50 I can tell ya that there are not a whole lot of difference between the later cubs with a square hood and the red ones. Lo Boy is essentially the same machine.

Thanks Redman.... did the mowing with it this weekend and it sure is a sweet running machine.

One day (after I finish the red one??) I will build a web site, but until then just ask and the folks here can surely help you out. I would highly recommend that you get the 3 manuals from a dealer.... they are the best tools in your tool box! Well worth the $80 or so.

Don't think I can check Rufus as baggage, but I could bring an Ertl version!
