Directions are in the manual.
On the generator - just lift the oiler caps and squirt some oil into the tubes. On the fan hub, position the fill screw to the right side, remove the screw and fill. Then turn the screw down and allow the excess to run out.

The Owners Manual describes the process and calls for "Engine Oil"

The level in the fan assembley is controlled when you turn the oil filler hole to face the ground.

Oops! sorry - Bob is correct - use 30 wt engine oil to lube them both.
