At Cubarama this year Jamie would like to set up an area where interested youngsters could be taught the proper and safe way to operate a cub. This would involve showing them the basic safety rules such as "shaking hands with the gearshift" and making sure that the pto is dis-engaged before starting the tractor. And then a short drive over a pre-set course.
Who better to assist with this project than the members of this forum? How many of you would be willing to dedicate a few minutes of your time to help a youngster learn to drive a cub the right way.
I believe Jamie is going to limit this to a specific age range and kids who are physically capable of handling the tractor with supervision.
I think a couple of cubs with rear carriers would allow us to do this safely.
So, can I get some response from those of you willing to help out? This will not be an all-day long project. Just for some specific time frames each day. Let's help Jamie make this year's Cubarama even more spectacular than ever.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

WOW guys THANKS My thought is to give our hand at a small scale replica of the 1950 Chicago Worlds International exhibit of the "Cub go round". Will have everything ready for the gracious Volunteers Anyone with any info they have on the exhibit I would love to see it.
Also don't forget to send in your registration forms early enough to be included in the show booklet and have your (and your spouce if needed) personal name badges made. We are planning for FUN
