59 C-2 Woods mower paint
Went to the IH dealer today, picked up a quart of "Burnt Orange" They said that there was no such thing as "Woods White"......Anyway, does anyone have any pictures of what should be orange and what should be white on the mower? Thanks

When I emailed Woods on that exact question they returned with the answer that the yellow they use is what is euphamistically called School Bus Yellow.
As for the white, they said it was just white.. so I am assuming that IH White 902.. would be useful.
Hope that helps..
Personally, go with Ralph's colours.. they look nice..

This may be a sacrilige, but some time ago I got both colors from my local Ford NH dealer... or whatever their name is now. They are my local Woods dealer.
The Woods number for the white was #12702. The burnt orange was #12703.

Thank you for those numbers... now if we can get cross references for those of us who DO NOT HAVE a Woods Dealer in town. And the Paint, Decals & Other Finish Questions Index Page has been updated to reflect this information

I have a Woods 59C2 that was purchased new in 95
As far as colors. The deck was yellow, all pieces that attach to it i.e. side guards, belt covers, pulley mount were white.
For what it's worth.

Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over.
