Update on an old friend

Many of us remember Albie and Rudi's recent post kind of stirred some memories and questions.
I was fortunate enough to win the timing light Albie had on e-bay and even more fortunate to have had a couple of e-mail conversations with him since.
Albie is doing very well right now and has regained a lot of energy. In fact he has rebuilt over 100' of 3 course stone fence.
He has found renewed interest in his accordians and now buys and repairs them then re-sells them as a hobby. He is also teaching his daughter to play.
Sounds like he is doing well and I say God Bless Him!

What I find interesting, is that Albie along with many others in the hobby has interests and talents in totally non-related fields.. amazing and WOW :!: I personally like accordions.. my Dad used to play when I was a kid... good memories.. really good memories..

I sure hope Albie keeps it up and continues to enjoy life to the fullest. :D :!: :D

I am hoping that others who enjoy making music will bring instruments with them for the evening cookout etc at cubfest. I will bring my 12 string I think.. but since I chopped off me fingers a few years back, I don't make music so much any more as butcher it..
