Karry All getting some work done

Postby kinelbor » Sat Sep 16, 2006 3:29 pm

I used my karryall today to move some firewood. Sure works great! It will be nice in the woods when a tree goes down, I can it up and bring it home without having to drag a trailer up into the woods. 8)

Nik, you will love that thing. My Loboy came with one and at first I didn't even know what it was. Didn't take long to put it to use, though. Super handy. You might want to consider a set of front wheel weights if you don't have 'em already.

NIk, you have given me an idea. (that's scary ain't it). I will make a couple of exthesions off my frame so I can use my fork lift rods for side supports.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

I think I will need 4 upright rods for it to support the wood without falling out over rough terrain.

try a ratchet strap on the wood then two would most likely be enough.

Hey NIK...Nice work with your Karry-All  Ron's got the right FIX...the racket straps (2) will hold your split wood securely...with no need for extra welds, or support slots!

Very nice Nik, good to see that saftey equipment for the saw too!
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Nik:

Did you get the problem fixed???

I think I will paint it this week. So I need to know if I gotta fix it first ok? I have most of my McCormick-Deering Levelling and Grader Blade primed.. a couple small pieces left. Then paint. Then on to Gord's Blade.. but I would like to paint the Karry-All first, while I still have paint left over.. I never do get the amounts right. Once the hardener is in, it has to go!
