THIS REALLY STINKS CUBFEST SNOW EAST

Postby Mag Man » Fri Oct 13, 2006 8:35 am

Well bill just called and said he got stopped in the Buffalo area due to road closure and would be going south then east. So I am left here with a bout $200.00 worth of cub parts that I was goin to give away at cecils.
And I also had a #$%$cub owner Hat to send to be signed or what ever by all for John's quick recovery. Must be driving his Pa Pa's H around to much lossened something up. So i guess you folks will have to wait till Xmas time and pick a # or something for all this great merchandice.
Hope you feel better Johnny I see your signed In.

Mag Man,
Where exactly are you located. There is a chance, if the weather stays nicer and the thruway opens up, that I may head out tomorrow morning for Cecil's, and could stop by to pick up your stuff.

Well Bill pulled in late in the afternoon. He said he got here by way of North Carolina. Sorry about you're not getting your stuff here Jon but maybe next year. At least everyone is safe and sound. We all had a great first day and plan on an even better Saturday.

SOrry guys, no way I'm making it now. My sister-in-law, husband, and two kids had to stay here for the weekend because power is still out in their section of Kenmore(Buffalo). We just came back from there and you would not believe the scene. It looks just like a tornado or hurricane hit. there are limbs out of EVERY tree!!! It is unbelievable. We live just 6-miles to the north, and I only have a couple of limbs down, and the snow has melted. They still have over 2-feet of snow on the ground. It is unreal. they are estimating that there are nearly 400,000 people without power, and they may be out until the middle of next week.

I went to my father-in-law's place, and they have been bailing their sump pump every hour, and refueling the neighbor's generator every 45-minutes, throughout the night, just to keep the fridge going. We bought a deep freeze chest for our house and brought 6-coolers of food (mostly lamb) so it would not spoil.
It is unreal

Hope you guys have a great time at Cecil's. I wish I was there!

Wow that must be a small genny! Mine will run most of the day or night on one tank. I have a colman powermate 6000 with a 7000 surge I think.
She is real good on gas.
