Even if you don't have the serial numbers......

Do you have photos, or something that might leave us with some sort of distinguishing characteristics??

If the tractor, then, were spotted in your area, the name of the seller and perhaps the buyer could be obtained, and you could at least take a look, and see if it was your tractor, before making formal accusation.

You're probably like me, and have the serial number somewhere, but where?? Usually, if I need the serial number, I look on the tractor....at least I know where that is....

I had a brand new broadcast spreader stolen from behind my barn this spring, while I was at home. When we are gone for weeks at a time, people come into my outbuildings and steal tools, chains, etc....

A dog would help, but I can't have one.....

It is a sad state of events we have come to, isn't it??

When I spoke to Christian friends about the theft, they invariably told me:
"Well, I guess they needed it more than you did....."

When I spoke to Buddhist friends about the theft, they invariably told me:
"All beings, through limitless history, have been, at one time or another, your mother. So, I am sorry that your mother stole your machinery..."

Neither one helped much at the time, but they both helped to put it into perspective over time.

Problem is that someone who knows these tractors as we do will just tear it down and sell almost all the parts on EBay, And toss the parts that have any serial numbers or grind them off.
Nice world in which we live? FTW?
It will all come back to them in the end-- If that's any consolation . Hope it turns up but I highly doubt it!

Shure would be cool if the Cub and the scumbag could be found via this network :{_}:

I have at least one picture. Not sure how to post. Not sure I have others. One thing I was going to do when I discovered it stolen was to move it to my house. Waited too long to move it. That tractor sat in that shed for 15 years before it was stolen. I will look to see if I have other pictures. Unfortunately the picture was taken from the back.

im new here and im sure glad you get your cub back. im sure lots of people are not so lucky.

i have an idea if anyone is intrested. i think an online registry is in order. a page where cub owners can list there name and serial numbers of the cubs they own. we could find one person to trust with the info and let them put up a webpage. it would be a volentary effort on everyones part. anyone that thinks its a bad idea would not have to participate. i dont have the knowledge or ability to take on a project like that. you people dont know me from anyone. prehaps one of your long standing members here will volenteer.
