*.?-!.* Cub Owner cap comes in Handy

Postby VinceD » Fri Jan 05, 2007 10:18 pm

Dan England and I recently made plans to get together. We arranged to meet at a casual restaurant at noon. As my wife and I were preparing to leave the house that morning she asked how we planned to recognize each other. :?: I thought for a moment  and grabbed my *.?-!.* Cub Owner cap.

We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before Dan and his lovely wife. I had my *.?-!.* Cub Owner cap on and a quick glance from Dan put a smile on his face :D and he headed straight for our table.

We had a great visit. Dan and his wife are wonderful folks.

Thanks John, for the cap. It really came in handy :!: :!: :!: :!:

I didn't know how we were going to identify them other than going from table to table asking folks if they were Vince and Ann. But the hat did the trick. We enjoyed our first visit very much and look forward to many more. They live just a few miles from Janie's family in Missouri so we will be able to get together and talk Cubs each time we go there.
